Interviewer: police, detective
interviewee: Rachel Hart (woman down the hall from room 22)
(interview transcript example, u.arizona.edu)
Start of Interview
Police: Please explain to me what you heard on the night of January 20th Mrs. Hart.
Hart: I heard weird noises for a couple of seconds, just some bumping around. I didn't think much of it.
P: Nothing else?
H: At around 3 in the morning I heard a slight yell coming from down the hall.
P: Why were you up at this time in the morning?
H: I'm usually a night owl ask anyone. I was awake laying next to my husband reading the new Stephen King book he got me for Christmas. He was asleep of course.
P: Okay, thank you Mrs. Hart, no further questions. You may go.
Endnotes: I think this interview transcript with the police and a witness to the crime is a different way to portray a mystery. I used an example from the University of Arizona and an article by Erica R. Hendry on pbs.org to help me write this transcript correctly.
